Peru-Chanchamayo Medium Roast 12 oz. New Batch arriving in January
This is a great everyday coffee. It works in various brewing methods, especially with espresso. This coffee has an intense aroma and a well-balanced acidity and body. I prefer coffee that is not overly bitter, and this particular coffee has been carefully roasted to minimize bitterness while emphasizing its aromas and mouthfeel. You may distinguish notes of cacao, roasted almonds, citrus fruits such as clementine, and exotic regional flora and fruits.
This coffee is cultivated at an altitude ranging from 4900 to 5600 feet in the Chanchamayo - Junin region. As a result, the coffee beans possess intense aromas and flavors. The Andes Mountains are responsible for creating diverse microclimates throughout Peru. Additionally, the temperature variations cause the coffee beans (seeds) to absorb flavors during the day due to the high sun radiation, and retain those flavors during the night due to the low temperatures.
