We are a family business passionate about coffee!
The roasting process is one of the most crucial aspects of savoring a remarkable cup of coffee, but the freshness of the coffee holds even greater significance. The moment coffee beans emerge from the roaster, a delicate countdown commences. Approximately one week after roasting, the coffee begins to unveil those flavors we all eagerly anticipate. These flavors reach their peak during the second week, after which the coffee gradually starts to decline (sadly, good things don't last forever). Coffee is generally considered fresh up to three weeks after roasting. While you can still enjoy a satisfying cup of coffee beyond this period, certain flavors and aromas may have diminished by the third or fourth week.
At Kyrie Eleison Coffee, we take pride in providing our customers with the freshest roast possible. We do not roast in bulk, but rather roast our coffee on-demand to ensure that each cup is of the highest quality. For your convenience, we have thoughtfully stamped the roasting date on the back of our packaging, allowing you to effortlessly monitor its freshness. Ultimately, the best cup of coffee is the one you relish the most, regardless of your preferred brewing method.
